The NEET Alumni Study examines the post-training pathways of 853 alumni who had not secured employment after completing training under the Dr. Reddy’s Foundation – J.P. Morgan project. Of the 3,428 alumni who completed training between April and December 2025, 196, or 5.7%, remained outside education, employment or training. Women accounted for 71% of this group, with health concerns, limited family support, marriage and family responsibilities emerging as key barriers.

The findings point to opportunities for continued engagement beyond training, including periodic alumni outreach, extended placement support, stronger family engagement and gender sensitisation within the programme. The report presents the study’s methodology, detailed findings and recommendations for enabling more alumni to enter or return to the workforce.
