Health Strategy

Improving Health Care Services

In context to the prevailing health status in India and the significance of primary health care, DRF has developed this health strategy. The key objectives of this strategy are to strengthen the public primary health care service delivery system and to align our work with the national health mission agenda, universal health coverage priorities, and health-related sustainable development goals. This strategy can be summarized as “Improving the accessibility and quality of comprehensive primary health care services for the community in partnership with the public health system.

We envision that this health strategy will guide our work in contributing to the improvement of primary healthcare services for disadvantaged communities. By working with public health systems, DRF aims to create a replicable intervention that can be adopted, either in whole or in part, by other districts and state governments in partnership with development agencies and private CSR. Our ambitious goal is to ensure coverage of 2 million rural population by the end of 2025.”
