Shamik Trehan, has more than a decade experience of leading and managing large social sector programs aimed at improving lives of the poor in partnership with communities, government, development agencies and private sector. His core expertise is in strategy development, establishing innovative service delivery platforms and developing value driven high performing organization culture. His last assignment was as the Chief of Party of Bihar Technical Support Program for CARE India. The program aimed to accelerate progress towards government of Bihar’s and GoI’s health and nutrition 2017 goals covering more than 100 million people. Over the years, Shamik has worked with leaders in GoI, state governments, civil society organizations, private sector, and development agencies including BMGF, DFID, EU and international organizations including Care.
Sarat Babu Vasireddy
Director – Education
Mr Sarat Babu is an Ashoka Fellow (for his work in education reforms through community participation) and a post graduate in social sciences with over two decades’ experience in education, social infrastructure, women’s empowerment and child rights. He has worked with government / non-government agencies handling large projects in education and children issues, and is well recognized for his sound knowledge of matters related to the development sector. DRF is managed by a team of experienced professionals from development sectors. The project operations teams are supported by Learning & Development, Human Resources, Finance and Accounts, Q&A, Education Resource Center, Communications, MIS, IT, Procurement and Support Services.
